It just got so real! Who remembers sitting as close as possible to your boom box while listening to the radio so you could record your favorite song?!
stopping it the minute you hear the dj talking over the song you’re recording as they fade the music out
Man, I had the dual tape deck with the recording feature. I was fancy.
I miss making my own mixTAPES. When I got my first bucket in 2004, it only had a cassette tape player, but me and my friends didn’t care cuz we were still bumpin HARD in my hoopty. Awww bittersweet memories.
Me and my little sister would always record over those instruction tapes from the “Just for Me” Perm … stick a little toilet paper in those square holes at the top and BOOM, our very own mixtape … I know we weren’t the only ones who did that lol
